I like the GTHaus too. I ran Corsa cus I had it on my Z06. No drone was the main reason tho.

I'm sitting at the shop now waiting for them to finish my Borla install- secondary cat delete (60626) and mid pipe/Atak NPP system (140726). I had this set up on my SS and loved it, can't wait to hear the 3" system on the ZL. I know for a fact that the Borla system does not drone and is mild at cruising and gentle accels but screams when you get into it. I'll get some video for you all this afternoon/evening.

Anyone heard or done one yet?

I just did some research on this. GT HAUS looks like a vendor. The Zl1 exhaust looks to be a Meistercraft. $3k all the way up to $6k for their exhaust. WOW!! But, they look fantastic tho and sound great.

I looked at their system as well and like their setup and sound but could't justify the expense with more mods in the future, Borla was pricy enough. I know you have to pay to play but this is a little extreme.

The other system I found mounted to a Gen 6 on youtube was the Akrapovic which sounds incredible. From what I was able to find out, this was a custom setup as they don't make a system for the ZLs. If they did, I would have definitely coughed up the coin for it.

I did the cat delete as well. Sounds so mean. And with the valves I can tone it down at any time I want, it's great.

1) Corsa doesn't make valved exhausts. Never have, and I'm going to go ahead and say, never will.
2) Very little HP to be gained with cat-backs and axle backs.
3) No CEL if secondary cats are deleted properly with an X Pipe (60606 Borla) or an exhaust shop with proper welds. They're unmonitored.
4) If no Drone is your goal, DO NOT use anything other than Corsa. Possibly Borla. I don't trust anybody else.
5) I run the Corsa Axle back, love it.
6) I also run the Borla X Pipe 60606 and love it paired with the Corsa.
7) Anything that's not a complete secondary cat-delete cat-back like my setup, is going to require you to cut the factory exhaust up.

Corsa actually has valved setup for the 2018 Mustang, hoping they make one for the camaro eventually.

It seems like it would be so easy to do now.. Should we start a https://www.change.org/ petition for them to make one?

Agreed. I'd take that $3k and do headers/intake/tune instead. Shoot, their Titanium exhaust with carbon fiber tips run close to $7k. $7k!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol. You can get a fkn pro charger set up for that price.

I went with a combination of custom and Borla

1.) Removed the Secondary Cats
2.) From CATs transitioned to 3" pipe
3.) Custom 3" X pipe
4.) Borla Atak NPP exhausts
5.) Everything welded up, no clamps, clanging, rubbing or leaks

Sounds very deep and smooth when cruising and LOUD when your on it. Zero Drone whatsoever...

Has anyone checked the difference in rwhp and rwtrq between 2.75" OEM exhaust and 3.00" aftermarket? For example, sometimes going to a larger diameter causes lack of backpressure and loss of rwtrq.

Thanks!

I haven't dyno'ed it, but feel no noticeable difference in mine.... also, I believe you would have run into the same thing going from a crushed mid section to a non crushed X pipe..
