ARH 2"

This was my first start up. You can hear me going through the different drive modes. I did not rev it in the video. At idle and light load driving it is not too loud at all. Smash the peddle and she screams. No drone at all. Whisper quiet in the cab when cruising down the freeway.

Headers with cats won't yield big gains. All of the gains on modifying a 6th gen SS exgaust is removing the Primary cats. Removing Primary cats alone is worth 10-12whp with tune. Catless Longtubes are worth about 20-25whp. Catted longtubes are worth 15-17whp...not worth the cost it takes to buy a premium header like kooks or arh that fits right imo. Brandon Hill went 10's with bolt-on's and cat delete's. When he went to Longtubes, the gains were less then a tenth. C7 Vettes see better gains because they run manifolds instead of Tri-y's.

Remember to figure in cost of a tune to let the headers work properly on your car.

Then there is the whole factory warrantee issue. If you have your car tuned it will show up right away when the dealer connects his diagnostic machine to your car. If the issue is anything related to engine failure he can say that you voided your warantee with a non stock tune. Just be aware. You can fight this, but it will likely get ugly. My car only has 3400 miles and with all the computer stuff on the Gen 6 Camaro I bought the extended warrantee. I sure don't want to piss that all away for more noise and maybe 30HP.
When has Arizona ever done visual testing? They have never once visually tested any of my cars.

What headers should one buy if they were going to install without a lift? ARH/Kooks easier to install with jack stands than other brands?

We have used Kooks, ARH, and Hooker on the 6th gen and they all net about the same result.

I have the JBA ceramic LT's with cat'd mids going into the stock NPP muffler with black tips. Looks and sounds great.
I went with the JDP Motorsports/Taylor shielded plug wires when my stock wire burned through on the header. These also smoothed out the idle a bit.
