I just moved from SC to AZ and transferred my tags last weekend. SC was wanting over $1700 to renew the plates. I went to a 3rd party on a Saturday, got personalized plates and paid $1100 on a 2018 ZL1.

Ridiculous here and the roads generally suck. Cost me like $90 in Texas. But it is a tax deduction.
