I just want the front links from this package. Any idea when FEA stuff will be available for purchase separately? I was thinking of picking up the FE4 front links but should I just wait for the FEA ones instead or will there really be a big difference?

excellent info, thank you!

The FEA items are available now for separate purchasing, however some of the items in the Handling Kit and DSSV kit that are offered by Chevrolet Performance are a lot more expensive outside of the actual kit. If you're only looking for the front steering links, shoot me a PM and I can help you out! I don't believe they are a huge difference however, I can't say the true differences

Any feedback from the OP on the ZL1 1LE handling kit? Pictures, driving impressions?

Well got it installed by 3am Sunday night. Drove home TIRED so not much to report. Next day we got snow!
Looking at the parts there is nothing glaring obvious that makes parts look any different other then the aluminum rear subframe bushings.

The install was straight forward just takes lots of time. The biggest PITA is removing the stock subframe bushings. Using a little heat really helps! Installing the aluminum bushings is next on the PITA list. It is an interference fit so its tight. HEAVY duty ball joint tool to get them pressed in. Also had them in the freezer to help. Car needs to get to the alignment shop too. Installation manual says to do so. I also installed TSP headers and Xpipe along with RotoFab CAI.
Fitment on those pieces was EXCELLENT!

Finally had a chance to take the car out for a ride with new mods as found at the beginning of this thread. I also installed tsp 1 and 7/8 off-road headers along with a roto Fab oiled filter. Weather temps were about freezing so was unable to really push the car to the turns. Also car has not been aligned during that ride. Today the car was aligned but but unable to drive due to busy schedule did not allow me to pick it up from the alignment shop. So enough of wasting your time My overall impressions were the car felt tighter more rigid then stock but like I said I just was not able to push it through the turns. Wish I had more to report back I will as soon as weather permits. the tsp and rotofab definitely fattened up the mid-range torque and help the top-end a bit.

Looking at a couple of different parts sellers on line it is hard to determine conclusively that the parts in the ZL1 1LE Spec Handling Component Suspension Upgrade System kit are different than the non 1LE ZL1.

Hopefully this clears some of this up,
The first two images are of a ZL1 1LE VIN and Component parts within the Handling Kit. RPO on the suspension for the ZL1 1LE is "FEA" aka the build code. For the normal ZL1 it's FE4, which are the second two sets of pictures.
As you can see the part numbers are the same in both besides #26 which is considered the lower control arm. So to answer your question everything is the same between the ZL1 and ZL1 1LE Spec handling kit besides the lower front control arm. The kit is designed for a 1SS and 2SS model and not the SS 1LE/ZL1 since they share the same suspension.

ZL1 1LE

Normal ZL1

OP, Any updates on this?

I just got my SS 1LE last week and am planning on doing the ZL1 1LE solid rear cradle bushing kit.

Would love to know your impressions.

Coming from a F80 M3 where the rear is hard mounted to the subframe and jumping into my 1LE, I can definitely feel the little bit of play in the rear of the 1LE

^ looking for the same info. Had solid mounts on both E46 and E90 M3 and made the rear end feel way more attached to the road.

PITA to remove rubber ones but I assume u already know that. Stick new ones in the freezer as it helps. You will need a Pitman arm clamp to install...beefy one too.
