Ordered up a set today from Tire Rack. Gave up trying to find a set of OEM run flat rears. My original fronts are probably at 60% or better, the rears are nearly shot.
Hope they work as well as I have been reading. Certainly a lot cheaper than most summer performance tire options. |

the tread on the firehawk indy looks like they are directional, (limits left and right rotation) but I cant find any clear info on weather they are or not....does it say directional or have an arrow on the sidewall at all?

I had them installed on Thursday. Took them out yesterday for a 6 hour drive (didnt plan on it taking that long, but the back roads around here are awesome), they are pretty sweet tires, I was really impressed. I found myself crossing the yellow line a tad mid-corner as the tire had more grip than I was expecting, all safely, of course. For the price they cant be beat. |

Mine came in last week...still have a lot of life left in my Goodyear's. So may not change them over for a few more weeks...busy as all get out anyway.
Then again...A couple of good burnouts and the rears will be shot. May take a cross country trip with them, late September, would be a good test ride. Montana to New Hampshire, then down to North Carolina, then back west to MT. |

The firehawks are a great deal. They work good in the rain and cornering traction is excellent. They ride pretty quiet and take bumps well. For the money, you can't do any better.
