Nope, check the clearance parked on level surface with the car off, full tank of gas.

Thanks, got the car back last week. Dealer installed the newer springs. Noticable difference.

I wonder if the taller springs helps 0 to 60 and 1/4 mile times, do to the fact that the weight transfer/distribution is pushed more to the rear end. Food for thought.

Does the 18 Convertible sit different? Mine in 26 3/4 F and 28 R. Seems really good to me?

Just because the car will sit lower with the updated springs doesn't automatically mean the weight transfer will be worse. With the difference between the way my car looks now vs. before spring install, I wouldn't care anyway. It finally looks like it should've from day one. I don't know what made GM acknowledge this issue, but I'm sure glad they did.

So I had this done last fall and when I picked up car I did not look much lower. I am just under 28 inches in front so today I looked at tags on springs and I have 2 different part numbers. 84312735 and 84312736. The way the tsb is worded makes it confusing. So what is the correct spring for the coupe?

The 84312735 is for coupe. So I have one for coupe and 1 for a vert. It blows my mind how stupid some of the people are at these Dealerships. When I dropped it off they made me feel like I was dropping off a Chevy sonic or some cheap car.

When I was at the dealer yesterday, I'm sitting their while they process the paperwork for my step sons new car and I keep looking at the Zl1 in the showroom. Finally I get up walk over to it and yep, they never took the shipping spacers off the front springs. I did tell the sales manager.

So, I'm just now getting this done.
...and of course the dealer is still giving me shit. What do I need to tell them to ensure they can find the service bulletin, and that this gets done?

I found the PDF posted earlier, but it looks like the bulletin was updated. Anyone have the updated one?

Was wondering if anyone can confirm the OLD spring part number. We bought a used 2017 ZL1 vert with a build date of 4-18 which is after the TSB cutoff date. The gap on our car appears to be pretty big. Took it into the dealer and they said it doesn't meet the requirements for the TSB and new springs because of the build date. The part number on the springs in the car is 84186926 and the correct "new" spring should be 84312736 (for a vert). Can anyone confirm that these are the old springs even though the build date is after 4/12?
