Reading comprehension must not be that good, plenty of fast cars out there with bolt ons. Cool that you're going crazy with a blower, heads, cam etc...you're comparing apples to oranges...of course you're going to make a ton more power than a bolt on car.

So $3000 for full bolt ons (ported intake/TB, headers, UDP, flex fuel sensor, tune, and cai) for 90 hp is unreasonable

But $6000 for a procharger p1sc kit that adds 130 hp is not.

I cant make sense of your reasoning, but it's your car.

From tune with rotofab I gained 20, never found out #'s once I had e85, ported im/tb, headers because street tuned with those.

But I bought rotofab used and then dry filter so $3oo, katech tb $150, pray ported stock $300, skidmark e85 sensor $160, tx sp headers $900, tune 500 and retune $100 about $2400 all in

I already had HP tuners so ...

100.00 to unlock my ECM/TCM
200.00 for a reference tune to work off of from Pray
550.00 pray ported intake manifold/tb
400.00 Rotofab dry
250.00 lightly used CA performance cat deletes
160.00 SMG flex fuel sensor

1710.00 for 60-70whp...basically a low 11second combo. Drag pack would put it into the 10's.

I'm of the belief the motor / block itself will handle well over 1,000 easily.. ..the weakness is, to get there you'll have to use boost - and you will run into issues with the pistons / rods long before you get there.

One of our shop Camaros (16 1SS) made 410 rear wheel in stock trim. FBO it made 464 wheel.

After that, we did an AFM delete and cam swap to our new GenV Polluter Cam and made 530 wheel. That was with no head work.

Our dyno has also been known to be on the stingy side. But those are SAE corrected numbers.

E85 sensor - 300
PrayPorted TB/IM - 650
2in TSP headers - 600
Speed engineering X-pipe - 180
Roto Fab Wet - 430

$2160
Buy stuff on sale or get a combo deal from a dealer/installer and probably get all the stuff new for 2k.

DYI Tune for 2016 - 150 (Extra credit needed on a A8 car that deletes the AFM exhaust actuators instead of zip-tieing them)
Street Tune - 400
DYNO Tune - 550

2017s cost 200+ more to tune due to the locked TCM

Don't know my exact gains, but I ended up with 488/493 for $2300.

2.5k average to be about 490/490 in a daily with E85 is about your best bang for the buck.
6k to be at about 550 is a pretty big jump in Dollar to HP/TQ ratio.
Depending on how much a person can do themselves, going with GPI drag cam will put you in the upper 550 range, an run the do-it-yourselfer about 2500-ish depending on how crazy you get with overbuilding. 5k to be abouts 560ish on E85. A 1k savings, lot more work, but on the flip side you could always turn the boost up with the support of a LT4 fuel system.

Just a matter of picking your poison.

So I took the time to see what STD correction would be on the aforementioned 16 Camaro and it looks like it makes a solid 480/485 FBO.

Just like all other Chevrolet V8's form years past. The cam swap is the biggest power gain you can do. Other than forced induction.

Was that on 91, 93, or e85?

curious on the actual list of mods, as well.
