Double tap or hold for 7-10 sec
This is the question: How do you over ride the launch control with the A8 when in TRACK RACE mode?
Spent my entire last track(drag strip) day in SPORT mode so I would not have launch control. I've since learned that TRACK RACE mode provides faster shifts for the drag strip, but I can't bypass launch control. Double tap will put you in competitive mode but launch control stays on. Some say a 10sec hold on the TC button will cancel the launch control. Can anyone confirm this? If so, how exactly do you do it? Thanks

Found this post on another thread. I assume once this step is completed the DIC says LC disabled?

Tried it last night. DIC says LC disabled !!!
