Big Worm Graphix 3rd Brake Light
Hey all,
I'm installing the third brake light vinyl from big worm and having issues. The edges just will not adhere and I'm not comfortable leaving it on the car without it being perfect. Since I failed once at installing, can I try again later without issue? Also what could I be missing if so? I put down a ton of water before and during the install. I suspect the oils from my fingers creating issues. Is there a way to take that off the vinyl while not completely removing the adhesive? Any help is greatly appreciated, trying to not make this a waste of money! |

Have you tried using a heat gun to warm the edges? The edges of the 3rd brake light curve so the heat helps to form the vinyl to the shape of the lens. If there is wax, oil or other stuff on the adhesive you will need watered down alcohol to remove it.
