I'll probably never do a burnout in my 1LE. I don't understand the appeal. When I hit the gas I want to get slammed into the back of my seat, not hold the brakes and destroy my tires!

It’s for the track. Lightly heating/cleaning them can help your 60’ which is pretty important in drag. .

FOR THE LIFE OF ME I just can't figure out how to do a stand still burnout in this thing. I turned off traction control COMPLETELY (held it down for 10 sec). I've tried both in sport and track mode. also tried to do race mode but no dice... I rev the engine then dump the clutch and have both immediately applied the breaks or gave it a second before I applied the breaks. Sometimes I can do a burnout but 98% of the time I cant.

Any suggestions???? ELSD stopping me? I've seen many many Camaros burning out, I think its a 1LE thing maybe I just suck that bad..... lol I mean if you all would like to try please feel free and come on over

If anyone wants to see what I mean I have attached a link to a video I took about an hour ago. Yes on every try I put water down to get the tires wet.

Its not a real burnout if you can't do a stomp and go burnout. You should be able to...I can do a burnout from a 10 or 15 maybe 20 mile roll on depending on the weather temp and air quality.

Funny thing is I CAN'T keep my 2SS from sitting still roasting tires or getting sideways when I 'm trying to accelerate quickly from a dead stop into traffic.

I personally feel burnouts are for Honda's... time stamps are what show real power.

Is there any company that either does it or sells the kit for a line lock. I have heard stories that it can't be done?

https://youtu.be/GjiJyMVxkH4. The best part about getting new tires, is burning off the rest of the old ones.
