I use Harley Davidson Chrome polish paste on a toilet brush... about 10 pushed in and out, wait 5 minutes wipe with a rag... done.

WD-40 , Cleans great with an old microfiber towel and rubber gloves then some Adams metal polish #2.

I've used BlueMagic Metal Polish cream on my last 3 cars, rub it on, leave it for few seconds then wipe it off.

I use Mothers Mag polish and a micro fiber rag. I'm running regular 93 octane, so I do wipe them down after each drive.
