Premium in my area is as high as $4.59.

Lowest is $3.75

California is insane with taxes, which just went up.

Total taxes PER Gallon is 58.3¢ PLUS Federal (18.4¢) = 76.7¢ PER GALLON

HI., much like CA., NY., PA., NJ., MI., CT. and WA. are states that are dominated by a specific party of legislators that love to spend the hard earned money of the people who work for a living. It is reflected in the gas prices of the respective states, but not necessarily in the quality of their roads.

With that said, we can only get 92 here. In Maui County, Costco is by a significant margin the lowest at $3.55. Average per gal. is $1 more. The highest price is on Lana'i which is hovering around $6.00.

I am curious what party you think dominates MI. The republicans have controled lansing for a few years now and raised taxes on retirees, stripped union workers of their rights, trashed the great lakes, raised gas taxes, raised car registration fees, and YES our roads still suck. P.S. Flint!!!!!

I was seriously concerned it would be much higher. I am quite surprised.

I am sorry that this upset you. I did not mention any specific political party for that reason.

We will have to agree to disagree. I do hope that the people of the great State of Michigan will recover from the last 40+ years of neglect by their legislators. Unfortunately it will take more than just a FEW years.

My apologies to the OP and moderators for drifting off topic.

That's the world we live in right now. How much are you paying for gas? I am paying more than I should because ( insert politics )! If I was still driving my H2 daily I would be a little more %$%#$#, but my tea sipping Camaro has me filling up about every 8 days, around $50. Life is good!

No, my sincerest apologies for not being more specific. They have controled the state senate continiously since 1983, and the house since 1993 ( minus four years)...more than a FEW years. I promise from now on to avoid commenting on a political turd dropped in the forum pool, even if it is an alternate fact.
