Yeah, my V1 pretty frequently picks up blind spot detection signals from the camaro I just bought (even happens in the garage where there is no possibility of other radar signals coming in). It's annoying but I mute the alert and it will only beep on new detections from that point. Oddly, sometimes it doesn't pick up the false signals at all. Almost like sometimes it calibrates to the false alert at startup and sometimes it doesn't.

Wow thanks for the all the info, I never thought about what all the new cars emit these days. Going to look into a newer detector. Honestly I really try not to speed normally, but this car attracts cops like magnet. I just want to know when I am being watched.

Honestly I quit using my V1 bc of all these problems. Went with the Uniden R3, much better detector. Works great! Filters much of the bs.
