So they didnt even change the 1LE wheels. Probably a good thing. That front end and hood just makes the car look chunky and blocky. It just isnt sleek anymore. This is one of the first times I am not disappointed that I didnt wait for a refresh.

I hope there are lots of people that like it. It definitely fits the current gaping grille and black bumper theme, but I'd bet none of us with a pre 19 will be rushing out to trade in our cars.

Chucky and blocky are what I see too. That's why I said it looks like a truck. For some reason the black hood with the red makes it even worse which is a shame. The 1LE models typically look the best. This refresh worries me for what the gen7 car will be as these refreshes often show the direction future models are heading. It would appear to me that GM is already dropping the people that made this car's come back in 2010 and going after their kids. Maybe that's the right play. Time will tell.

How would you go about matte black-ing the bowtie, as it is a hollow piece, vinyl would be very difficult, as the chrome from the flowtie goes down into the grille. Maybe plastidip and low gloss clear...

I'd place a bet that the aftermarket vendors are already designing a way to cover or black out the bowtie. There's a lot of creative minds out there chomping at the bit to get new products out there that will improve the looks of the front end!

Come on really? Another person thinking the value will go up because they don't like the style look ect. If anything the value will drop, Jesus Christ i just don't get it. Its not a collectable type of vehicle unless you think it is...

Obviously the value won't go up, not a limited McLaren by any means but I do believe depreciation rates will go down since the demand will start overtaking the supply. Anyone that wants a camaro but hate the 2019 model (a lot of people i've talked to) will look to get a 2016-2018 model.

It's a Chevrolet. One that you can easily rent from any major rental car company. It's a commodity, not a collectible.
