Always apprehensive about dealer service but these guys seem to be pretty good. Have talked to some others in the local Camaro group and they've been impressed. I talked with the tech and he seems almost as particular as the rest of us.

So anyway, looks like #7 injector is bad/faulty/etc. Unfortunately there are three different types of injectors and they don't keep any in stock so she's there for the weekend at least while he confirms which injector it is. I should get her back on Tuesday at the earliest.

I did get a loaner. A 2018 Silverado crew cab. Gives me a chance to take a closer look at a truck. Not the way I wanted to do it but I'll try to make the best of it.

Bummer they have to keep it. And I’m surprised had an injector failure this early, but as with anything. It can die at anytime. Glad they know what’s wrong and can fix it quickly though.

And yay truck rental.

Thank you! I had my local body shop install them for me. I had it back in a day. I thought about installing them myself for about 5 secs but then decided i'd let someone who knows what they're doing handle it.

Overall cost including installation? If I may ask.

So belts were $550. My local chevy dealer offers 15% off if you follow and mention their Instagram which I totally forgot to do. So they could of been around $470. My auto body guy install them for $400.
