You got that right, christ GM just cant get converters right and its been going on for years, but then again if the car would be a tenth quicker then all the other converters out there Im sure all the drag racers would jump on it...

For the cost I would stick with FTI or Circle D.

My car is getting its second converter change. I wouldn't voluntarily put a GM converter in for anything. They are covering mine under warranty so ill let them fix it. Supposedly there is a new part number for this converter but im not holding my breath

They had one at the PRI show in December, no confirmations but rumor has it its a 4400 stall speed. One being tested on the GM Race development car. Here is what they claim

400+ passes at 600+ horsepower
60-foot time of 1.433 seconds
Eighth-mile time of 6.739 seconds
Quarter-mile time of 10.569 @ 127.8 MPH

So just curious how the GMPP people justify their budget to develop all these parts, while the controllers are now signature verified with a Impossible to crack 128 bit encryption?
