Maggie Tuning Issue

Hey fellow PD guys. I’m running a Maggie with a 90mm pulley on my M6 car. My other mods are 1 7/8 long tubes with cats, Roto-fab, Pray ported TB and ZL1 low pressure pump. I was working with Ted to get my Maggie setup dialed in when I had to go out of town on business. Ted sent me the 2nd iteration of my final tune but I have been out of town for a couple of weeks and have not loaded it yet but should get back to it later this week.
My car runs great from idle to around 2,000 rpm and from 2K up but has a “flat” spot right around 2K rpm that is noticeable under gentle acceleration or with the cruise set around 2k rpm. Under moderate to hard acceleration and the car blows right thru this dead zone. Ted speculated that torque management is causing it to pull timing, then abruptly dump the timing back in with the slightest bit of extra pedal. I’m confident that Ted will be able to tune this out if it is possible but from what I read torque management can be hard to deal with especially on M6 cars.
I am curious if anyone else running a Maggie, especially on a M6 car has experienced this issue, and if so, were you able to completely tune it out? It seems strange that the ECM would want to pull timing when under such low load conditions. Other than in this narrow rpm range, the car drives exactly like stock until you get into it.
Ted, if you’re reading this, I am hoping to load your new tune sometime tomorrow. I will let you know how it works and try to capture this condition on a datalog if it is still present with the latest tune.

Yes, I'm running the colder ngk plugs that Ted supplied with my kit. It looks like we're almost mechanically identical. Are you experiencing any similar issues?
I suppose i may have posted this thread prematurely as I'm still on the first iteration of my final tune. It is entirely possible that Ted`s second tune will eliminate my problem. I was just wondering if this is common on M6 cars and if so, is it easily remided via tuning.

My car does the same thing. During slow acceleration the car seems to "bog" in the low RPM's and then it takes off. It's a noticeable noise difference during the "bog" which made me think it was a misfire. Replaced my 6510's and wires and still get it. It doesn't happen every time but I can reproduce it easily and it seems to be after the car warms up.

Sounds similar to mine, Joe. I'm hoping Ted can tune it out but if not, it's nothing i cant live with

Ted is one of the most experienced tuners on here. I’m sure if it’s a tuning issue he will figure it out. I would most definitely load the next tune and log it and send to him. He has done wonders to my previous car and now my A8 car.

I have never seen that in any Maggies I've worked with. Not sure what is going on. Mine has never done that.

Might be a M6 issue

when I went with a smaller pulley and installed the TED recommended plugs with a gap of 0.42 only issues I experience, is if its cold outside and stumbles a little until it gets warm, but now that its warmer outside I don't experience it at all. From what you are talking about I do not experience whatsoever. my guess is that Ted will figure it out, I'm sure hes done enough tunes with your set up that he may have a file from someone elses (Even thought I tend to lean on each car is different). see what he states, you may end up resulting into a local reputable dyno/tuning shop just to see where everything is at when its actually on a dyno. logging ect...

Mystery solved. Ted thought I still had my flexfuel sensor installed and tuned accordingly. Computer defaults to 40% ethanol when tables are turned on and no sensor is present. We're starting from scratch on data logging / tuning
