Sounds like my 1LE has an issue then. No matter what mode I put it in; stealth, Ice/Snow it still cold starts in track type mode. I've tried every setting possible. I leave for the gym at 4:30am so I'm starting to piss my wife off (car in the garage).

At 4:30am or even 8:00am it's so quiet you would hear anything louder than a Prius start...Any truck, SUV, or other more serious V8 or even V6 is going to be noticeable. I don't understand why anybody but especially a family member would get mad by a car starting up that will be gone within 30 seconds of it starting.

So if you switch the ignition on (by holding the start button) and toggle between stealth and tour, do you hear the valves open and close? You should also be able to see them with a good flashlight.
