Yes it is this is my first manual car. My second car in general. I'm guess I'm asking what rpm range is the strongest. I just broke my car in and I did a pull past 4k RPMs and it felt to me that around 5k or so it pick up more torque.

First gear is best due to torque multiplication from gear ratio but you won't be going that fast. Also reverse but I wouldn't try that.

Of course this is NOT recommended for normal daily driving. Fyi Camaro motors 455hp/455tq ratings are rather under rated as compared to Vette motors on the same dyno. to answer your question--at highway speeds, downshifting into 4th and hitting the gas tends to give the results you are looking for.
