Seriously, they are using the standard SS brakes and suspension -as is- for the V6 and turbo 1LE packages. Assume reduced manufacturing complexity is the goal and is also why we see standardization and overlap of other items across models. ..like cooling...for instance
I get that part but they are charging $1000 more for V6 1LE package than the 5th gen 1LE package, yet the V6 package is just the SS suspension, tires and brakes. You are paying more for less and they don’t even paint the calipers.

That’s pretty terrible, if you ask me.

Little more than that:

Heavy-Duty Cooling and Brake Package
Satin Black hood wrap
Sueded microfiber-wrapped steering wheel
Performance exhaust
Rear differential cooler
Extra-capacity cooling system
External engine oil cooler
20" low gloss Black-painted forged aluminum wheels with summer-only tires
Auxiliary engine coolant
245/40ZR20 front and 275/35ZR20 rear blackwall, summer-only run-flat tires
Suede microfiber-wrapped shift knob

The turbo and V6 1LE also get the additional cooling, front splitter, blade spoiler, exhaust...

One might assume the cost of component upgrade from a base LT is higher than it was for your 15. I.e. 18" rims to 20", all season tires, etc

RS-V6 1LE is a bigger jump than SS - SS 1LE all things consider edge imo.

Plus, red brake calipers are just a 4 dollar pint of sunrise red rustoluem and some paint Cheap paint hardner away. Looks great, almost perfect match to SS 1LE color. The durability is all in the prep.

Anyone that has a hard time distinguishing a Charger from a Camaro should just buy an Elantra and be done with it

I would bet the 2016 2018 tail lamps bolt right in with the 2019 bumper cover intact. Should be no reason to change the bumper cover.

The new rear bumper cover has scalps around the new protruding lights. The old lights won’t fit correctly.
