Quieter Start - too loud

I loved the noise the car made when it started. I love the roar.

However, it's starting to get to me... and I don't understand the purpose of it other than making a little noise to scare the neighbours.

I wonder if anyone has been able to go to the dealership to quiet it down with a tune that will still keep the warranty.

Any thoughts?

Putting it in stealth mode before shutting off, definitely helps! Do believe the reason is emissions something with cats.

^^ yes

also if you forget to put it in stealth mode before you park it, you can hold down the start/stop button for 5+ seconds it will allow you to get into the setting w/o having to start the car.

I respect my neighbors and (if I need to leave early am) will make sure I am in stealth and start the car with the garage door down.

I just start it with the garage closed.... Going to try the stealth mode!

Stealth mode works very well to keep the noise down. I love it, but my whiny neighbors don’t. So it’s how I usually start it leaving my house.

I’m so confused. I love the roar and can’t wait to add headers to give it a little more.

I actually rev it before I turn it off. Don't move next door to me.

I wish getting to stealth mode was at the touch of a switch. If you forget to put it in stealth the night before, it's ridiculous what it takes to hold the button 5+ seconds, system then has to boot up, then you get to the correct menu....blah blah blah. Separate button/switch please!

Shoulda heard my open headers Z28 breaking in a new cam last week (2500 RPM for 25-30 minutes). Deafening for the whole block I’m sure.

I start mine with the garage shut if I’m leaving earlier than 9 am. I love the noise no matter the hour but I get other’s might not.

My neighbors used to love my 5th gen z with cam, no cats, corsa, ARH.

After the explosion went off with garage door down they could hear my 1st pull onto the freeway on ramp 1.5 miles away LOL
