MSRP - $52,950; Negotiated Price - $42,688; 19.38% discount off of sticker.
Having a clear coat bra put on the front end - pick it up next Saturday. The best part? I live in Illinois, but have a vacation home in South Carolina. Papered it in SC and saved $2687 in tax. Nice. Love giving the finger to the State of Illinois. Am moving down there full time in a year.

Yep, checked the tax thing three ways to Sunday. I'm a resident of Illinois, but have property in SC. SC "taxes" a new vehicle sale at 5%, but is capped at $500. The bummer is that it is an annual thing. So I'll pay the total eventually. But only $500 now.

Only thing you will have to pay is property taxes here in SC. You should be getting a notice within 90 days after registration. There will be no more sales tax. Just the $500.
