What's the deal with your fuel door? Just curious
Apparently, the Red Hot Fuel Door wasn't an option on the workbench sheet.

Then...alas, it was there on delivery and on the build sheet.

Me? Go to the track? Bwahahahahahahaha. I'm trying to find a 2nd as a daily. $65k range. Don't really want to go over that. I don't want a truck. I don't want a sedan. Not in BMW's. Iv'e pretty much owned every car out right now. Maybe a Camaro SS? Not a bad idea actually. Get me a SS to putt putt around in. Find one in the mid to high 30's? Saves me some coin.

I’m daily driving a 16 Camaro 2SS. It is so different than the ZL1 that the SS disturbs me. Brakes, handling & steering I do not trust at the minimum limits.

I can tell you that the first 900 were definitely not as hard as the last 900 have been! Hahaha

Plus if he was looking to get rid of the car before the warranty expires then he got even more of an incredible deal. And considering how many people on here talk about how they drive the shit out of the car anyway right off the lot, I'd say he has nothing to worry about. GM built a rock solid car and 900 miles of abuse is nothing. Of course this all assumes the car was abused. A lot of these dealerships do not let their employees abuse these cars like it's an SS. And they don't often let people test drive unless they already signed for it. Most likely it was used for the purposes of showing people what to expect from the ZL1 1LE. There are many of these cars used for this purpose. If you find one then you'll get a crazy deal and it is well worth it. If he gets rid of it in a month then he'll have paid nothing for it considering he bought it at or around it's used value.
It was used for the Chevy auto shows. I 100% agree with you BlaqWhole (freaking awesome username lol). If it was driven hard, more power to them (but it didn't show in the tires). HAHA

And I've seen it that if a vehicle is "new" but has over 300 miles then you should be negotiating a lower price. So while it was never registered to someone, in some states it also wouldn't be considered a "new" car since it had 900 miles on it when you bought it. That could account for the lower price. It wasn't technically a discount, they had to sell it as "used" or whatever term they have for it. Not knocking you, but there are reasons for every discounted price. If that isn't the case in your state then I guess I'm wrong. Either way you got an awesome deal!! You basically got it cheaper than a lot of us got the standard ZL1 for!!

I lived in NJ most of my life and remember many of their rules lol. Car buying is waaaaay different here and since it was never titled, I am owner number 1 and it’s not a used car. I was blown away the first time I bought a car in GA on Saturday night and drove it home within an hour. Just have to tell the insurance company within 30 days! No waiting for anything.

Pretty sure the NJ rules were 6,000 miles (GA is like 5,000) though. I’ve seen demo cars in NJ with more than 4K miles sold as new (but that was at least 15 years ago, so it certainly could’ve changed).

Either way, I’m loving this thing for that price!!!

I want something sporty. Doesn't have to haul the mail. I have my Zl1 for that.

Maybe a Lexus RCF350? I've always like the GT350 tho so. I like the C63AMG, but we just got one for the wife, so don't want a 2nd one.

GT350!!!! I love everything about the car. People will knock that it does not have a oil cooler and engine reliability is questionable. Small percentage of cars incurred issues mainly from tracking. When I see one on the street I always do a triple take.
Beautiful car with one of the best exhaust notes.

That makes a bit more sense. It was, in essence, a used car. It is like buying a car that has been used by the PGA Tour for the golfers for a tournament. Those cars are sold at sizable discounts and in many states have to be sold as used cars.

ATS-V is what you want.

Even for a daily stacking thousands of miles on a 350 is not a good idea from what I’ve seen.

Haha, good one.

I like the ATS V idea. I might have to get out there and drive both. Still leaning towards the 350 tho. I'll prob only put about 800 miles a month on it so. It's not like I drive alot anyways. It's just a 2nd car that will get used when it rains or when I don't feel like dealing with daily driving the Zl1. Saw the Q60's too btw. Not bad. I might go luxury/sport. Oh well.

It does have an oil cooler. Only the 2015/2016 Base and Tech Package did not have the oil cooler.

Good way to look at it... I agree! In GA it was still new so that helps with the history of it (carafe, warranty, etc)
