Exactly. That's why I refunded. I think you are still not understanding the issue... We were supposed to have parts by December, we get sued by VW tying them up, more crap with parts issues we don't even have our sample set for two weeks and our inventory for 60 days after that. I'm supposed to just keep tellling you that and sit on your money costing you more business for more time? No, I told everyone what was happening (there's countless group emails even) offering refunds or to wait. I want to refund. I don't want to sit on money when I don't have product. Every one griped about our wait times, I did what was necessary to fix them. Refund people waiting, don't sell until it is in stock. I didn't disappear with anyone's money. I'm still right here. We hit issues right after SEMA and I've spent the better part of a year fixing them. Not selling one IROC-Z. Not finishing my own car. Fixing these issues. You read on line people having problems and assume. The post right before yours great example, already has had the spoiler for over a month but it still seems like he's gotten no part in the post. Makes it seem like we're dodging but we're not people just don't like to hear the answer "That part is not ready for production, here's your money back." And yes, some of these are so old it's been a nightmare to get our PP reserve released for them but we've sat on a the phone fo 6 hours before to make sure it gets done. |

Not for nothing but how come you are all of the sudden super active, responding to posts, defending your business, etc... but over the past couple of months there were crickets. No answers, frustrated customers that weren’t getting any communication. Where were these posts months ago?
I was one of the people that ordered an Iroc hood and was told 4-6 weeks. After that time frame I DID get my money back. However I do not believe that at the time I ordered it you thought you’d actually be able to get it out it that time frame. I think you already knew. People had ordered things long before I did and they had not gotten their parts yet. The thing is, I don’t even think people mind waiting. They just want transparency and honesty. And that’s what seemed to be missing here. I do hope that you are in some way able to get things back up and running because in the end, having more cool parts available for our cars is a good thing. But the key is AVAILABLE. If you can do that, and actually stick to your “in stock” or “will ship in one week”, then it just might work.

![]() I have ordered parts from mark, had to go through paypals long refund process to get my money back after he went dark. Mark, I'm not qualified to give you business advice, but I do hope for your success. I really do. You have good looking products, but you need some work in the customer service department. Excuses make you look bad, take action to make things right, especially to those you've left in the dark. Change their minds about your company, and you'll succeed. No more excuses, to be blunt, they make you look like a liar, or like you simply don't care about your customers. people make time for whats important, they make excuses for whats not.

Simple answer. I was fixing manufacturing and hiring more people and trying to get all of the issues fixed and parts out but there's only 20 hours a day. This is a Forum. It's not our FB page or IG page, which I didn't have time for so I had to hire someone, it's not our personal website forum, our e-mails, our you tube account, etc... This forum is not high on my priority list to respond to when I'm trying to fix customer issues. Also I didn't know. I had no clue as these hoods are now literally at their third manufacturer just now to actually be in a quality production. When you ordered we were doing the black gel coat that was lighter, better, etc... Well, before we shipped any out I wanted to see why they were lighter... I cut one in half and it was garbage. No sheet laid just garbage that would have split. So, I stopped again. We just posted on FB Friday the first production (all is good now) hood on Friday. Now we move on to re-doing (again) the ZL1 hoods... Then we move on to finding a final answer for the IROC-Z window hoods (looking like a complete no go unless we close the front scoop, glass flew off the IROC-Z yesterday from the pressure at 160+). The problem is I should have refunded everyone months ago BUT a lot of people didn't want the refund it was just "keep me updated". Well, it's not a normal, "We're behind I'll keep you updated" type of situation. We were ready to roll then lost a bunch of good molds (fire ash), had to find other places to have stuff made (that was after the fires) got duped into spending a ton on bad product (realized that 2 months ago), didn't send that out started over... I gave people updates it was just never the updates most people wanted to hear. If I would have pulled it from the beginning instead of trying to fix in motion this would have been fixed a long time ago. I kept trying to fix as going and it just drug everything out over 6 months. I refunded people whether they wanted it or not to stop the cycle. I don't want people to keep waiting for parts that keep getting delayed because we keep just pushing forward instead of making people upset (here's your money, no part right now) in the PRESENT to get them their money back and simply say "We well let you know when it is in stock and honor the price." Heck, a lot of our issues were national headlines (the fires 100 yards from the shop), and then my family in the hurricane, etc... A one man show until last November, sales quintupled, manufactururing ground to a hault. This kept dragging on. I stopped and moved manufacturing, got product in hand, sent product out to people I knew still waiting and weren't refunded. Felt ok, this is solid now move forward... I refunded everyone I could still find waiting, made posts and emails everywhere saying if I missed anyone please let me know I'll take care of you. Find more and we do. Send more parts to people still waiting we missed. Been up and running for 3 weeks now hitting the times, all seems good, move on... Check again everywhere, did I miss anyone what can I do for you, please email me... I'm the owner so I have a lot going on but I try my best to have the emails replied to within 2 business days worst case. Mike is always available on the phone or email now as well. My wait times are solid. I have other people selling my stuff with the same solid wait times if you don't want to buy from me. I'm trying to make sure no one (reasonably, you also have to understand half the people are full of it, so many IG people we call out that have never ordered, customers that never paid attention to the fact they were refunded, people who have gotten parts and refunds still upset because they wanted the part, which I appreciate, but make it sound on forums like we are just horrible and they have no parts or money) is owed anything. We had parts. We got money for them. We didn't have GOOD parts (crap happened). We gave money back. We have GOOD parts now. We have sent them to people waiting. They are super happy and love them. If you have ORDERED from us and have an issue let me know and I'll take care of it. Please again understand I'm the owner so slower response, if you want quicker email or call through the site. |

You are 100% correct and I take every piece of that to heart. It's why I shut down. I can't give answers I don't have even if I think I am getting them. That's been the issue and it all came down to selling a part before it was ready to ship. |

My intent was never to say that I never got everything however a little more clarity would have been nice and you could have just said the guy I hired to make these hoods was doing crap work so I have to find somebody else and the other issue is that the windows are flying off at high speed I would have been a little more understanding and willing to work with it instead of just the normal expected to ship next week or within x amount of days

The window hoods never even got that far, our IROC curled and flew off, we redesigned and kept testing but are still working on a solution. We then moved because we found out this person was too hit and miss on meeting deadlines and moved to not have more issues... We had one of the hood from the ZL1 (that was from the pics we posted but the lines were off and we were remaking the mold) test fit left over from him. Cut it up and that's when we realized he was not using the proper (expensive) material just making it look like it. Currently window hoods are 2 weeks out on a final decision. 1) Yes, this works perfectly. 2) No, this will not last the life of the car we aren't selling it. |

Also, sorry wasn't trying to single you out as I've talked to you forever and know that was not your intention, it's why it was a good example to me as people only have what they are upset about on the front of their minds so there's a lot of these threads where I looked way more criminal that what was going on lol.
All comes down to I didn't have enough help to do all of the work so I seemed a non-responsive ahole. More people hired now and trying to reach out to anyone I wasn't able to before. |

This is the kind of post I wanted to see from you. Just wanted to see something that made it apparent that you were taking responsibility and this was a legit post. I will still buy in the future, but like others, want things guaranteed to be in stock or ship in a reasonable amount of time. Which should be like 1-2 weeks max.

Now that I realize it and stopped to do it, I didn't just want to catch up to the standard, I'm trying to do better to show it is really me acknowledging an issue and caring enough to do better than just fix it (fixing would have been back down to 4 to 6 weeks) and have a better system. |

I know for me personally, 4 weeks would be acceptable for “made to order” items. For things that should be in stock I’d expect no more than a week to ship. I’m sure others would agree. Anyways I’m going to stop posting in here for now, but I will say it’s definitely a step in the right direction by responding and trying to make things right, even if there were quite a lot of pissed off people.
