On the trip to Watkins Glen, I detected the dreaded trans shudder. I thought it was only barely noticeable as I drove the 15 miles to the nearest dealership I trust. I mentioned the TSB #16-NA-175 when I made the appointment. I was hoping they would believe me.
Their tech felt it to, did the flush and filter, and it was noticeably better when I got it back.
Thumbs up to David Chevrolet Buick in Niagara Falls, NY!

Another note, I was able to get another banner made. But she used the wrong vinyl, a darker metallic grey...and we LIKE it! (At least for now.

)

Banner looks awesome. You think they could make one where the fifty is in the matte grey to match the center stripe?

I thought of that, too. The grey on these is a good color match to the stripe, at least in the light I had left when I finished. I'm looking forward to seeing it in broad sunlight.

There was a gloss black 2017 SS sporting a FIFTY banner in black, without the orange strip, at the dealership. A guy inside said "Hey, we got a Fifty, too!"

The lady with the vinyl cutter said she never made one in black.

My Fifty has been parked in my garage while I wait on a new MAP sensor to arrive in the mail. I had problems with the original when I swapped over to the PRAY ported IM and it looks like it may be faulty now.

Luckily, the new one arrives tomorrow and the rest of the car is buttoned up. Waiting to drive it is hard.

I might hit up Matt at Wildhammer and see what he says. I have access to several Hot Wheels VINs.

When I lived in Amherst I used to go to David. Those folks really do care.
