OBDII readers?

What OBDII readers are you non PDR people using? I have one of those cheap blue readers but for what ever reason it wont work with the Race Chrono and Track Addict apps. A friend of mine seems to think its because my car is a '17, but it works when using the torque app.

I just got the ScanTool OBDLink MX Bluetooth per the recommendation by Harry's lap timer (which I use). Seems to work well, although connecting can be a little bit cumbersome at times. I just downloaded and checked on Race Chrono and Track Addict and they both work with it as well. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S8.

Hope that helps.
