This is easily good for another 10rwhp

I think I should have a notable seat of the pants increase in HP!

Call me crazy but the Mobil 1 ESP 0W40 oil has made a bigger difference in my car's performance than either a drop-in green filter or Ported TB. I'm really impressed with this oil.

Is there any reason not to run it?

On an earlier thread about this oil, someone posted the part number for the oil cap. Could someone post that part number again? I wanted to order from the gmparts guy.

Thanks.

Having read a lot of your posts I'm impressed with this comment - In a good way.

Sounds like I need to take a trip to the dealer...

I did not get a HP increase with mine. I think I'll get a refund.

Where are you guys buying it? Maybe not looking enough, but online I can only find 0w 30w ESP

I would like the 0w 40w ESP dexos 2.

It isn't supposed to be sold retail for another few months. To get it now you either need to get it changed by a dealer, or have a dealer that is uh "willing to play ball". I am not sure on people's luck in getting them online.

My local dealer got a shipment in, and on each liter is a sticker that says "not for retail sale". I asked if they would sell them to me anyways and they said yes. $11.32 per liter as reported elsewhere.

Your best bet is to ask your local dealer's parts counter IMO.

I think a trip to your dealer will be worth your while.

My engine has noticeably more pep and smoother acceleration with this oil.

Now it could very well be that changing to any 0W40 oil would produce similar results. I can't say for sure since I've run nothing but 5W30 weight in every Camaro I've owned until this last oil change.

I'm waiting for someone else to announce similar results in their car so I know I'm not hallucinating.
