pulled my MSD intake and TB to change the gaskets and noticed my TB is stuck open

any ideas? I also attached a few photos of what my heads look like. car has 14k miles.

Most likely thats just where it rests when the car is off. If it was truly stuck open your idle speed would be way up. Thats the first thing you would notice.

thanks! now I am having issues with the gasket in between the upper and lower part of the intake. it seems like the gasket is slightly to long or I'm missing something for installing it

Be careful when reusing that gasket. I had leaks from the back corners :( and had to order replace ones for back up later.

if you did not already know, the brass bushing came out of your evap solenoid mount on your intake.

might want to epoxy that back on, while you have it all apart. you are supposed to use the supplied bolts with the MSD intake, to keep that from happening.

The person who installed it didn't use them and I noticed during installation that I didn't have any 8mm bolts. I wonder if that would cause a vacuum leak?

Well that means you just have an o-ring keeping that port sealed. Nothing holding it down.
