Gotta love almost everyone in today's America price gouging whatever possible due to being financially distraught after the past decade recession.

yes, pull the fuse before the car is started. If it does stay closed you can push the value open with a rod.

It will stay open longer during startup than when in Track mode, but still has some form of closure happening when cruising as its still too quite then. Seems to only be loud at WOT.

ah I see !!! so by removing the fuse it will stay open all of the time REGARDLESS of throttle input. Correct?

Correct. As a bonus, this keeps your inside exhaust tips clean, so you'll only have to constantly clean the two.

oh my god !!! you just gave me an even better reason to pull the fuse than the exhaust note !!!!

I can't stand the way the back of the car looks with just ONE dirty exhaust tip on each side. It bothers the hell out of me !!!!

That fuse is coming right out as soon as I get the car home !!!

With the fuse pulled, you're only going to have the outside tips (I believe) dirty...so the one dirty tip look isn't going anywhere...

crap!!!!!

But how can that be? If the valves are open all the time after the fuse pull, doesn't that mean that all four exhaust tips are being used?

There are pics of a cross section of the suitcase somewhere in the forums.

To answer your question, technically yes but...The inside exhaust tip has a greater travel and resistance path through the muffler (the quiet side). Exhaust that is expelled through the outside pipe (valve open) is traveling the path of least resistance. So there is a significantly higher level of exhaust and its byproducts (including carbon) through the outside tip than the inside tip.

Ha!!! that makes perfect sense. I'll live with the black tips. I just have to make sure I clean them when I wash the car

It's America. It's always been like that. It's called doing business and making a profit. I highly recommend getting with the program.

One other question. I thought there was an option on the mode selector to keep the exhaust loud REGARDLESS of the driving mode you select. Is that not the case?

$900 for just the sound is a hard sale man. I have seen the videos and the whine is quite noticeable.

I'm with you, but to me, $900 wasn't even a thought. It was worth it to get the blower whine alone. Now, that I'm ported, I even have more blower whine. My car screams now. Sounds almost.............almost like a Kenne Bell.

If I didn’t have a Hellcat (which screams like there’s no tomorrow) I would probably be more open to spending the $900 to get the sound.

The whine of a supercharger is something else! It adds a lot to the Driving experience.
