I wonder?

I just checked my ZL1 and it seems this same thing happened to me on my free oil change visit :( I wonder how many others this has happened to?

BTW change your car description under your picture!
The old Camaro had about 6500 miles on it. The new one had 11 miles.

I've been looking for how to change that info...can't find it...lol.

Under User CP, click edit details,

Congratulations on getting a new ride. That has to be an extremely rare outcome.

I've heard of it happening quite a few times since it happened to me. They should have pits or drive on lifts for Camaro and Corvette oil changes. Everyone who reads this thread will be all over them fenders and rocker panels after every oil change from now on...lol.

I was worried! Good Lawd, I was worried!

Yes, something like this happening is rare indeed. They are a great Chevy dealer though. I've bought many cars there before and they've always been awesome! I bet they sold ten cars today while I was there. They have their shit together except for that dude in the lube department...lol.

Great!! Milton Ruben is pretty good. Dealt with them several times and never had any issues. I was always pleased with how they treated me.

Dealerships have been damaging the fenders for the Camaro quite often there are many posts about that on the forums,I honestly believe the problem lies within GM itself cars need to have lift points exposed that says "Lift here" except they do nothing but damage the frame because your GM certified technician is too lazy to check the service manual worse of all they don't give a **** about your car.

Dealership nowadays wants to save costs so they will definitely have ur car taken care by a 3rd party body shop whom they signed a contract with, they've gone cheap and corrupt these days.

It is extremely frustrating that you go to a dealer for service so your car is taken care of by the folks that were trained to take care of it only to find out that your 50 to 70k baby is in the hands of the kid who just out of trades school. Unfortunately they have to start somewhere ,and oil changes are often looked at as a place to park these folks. Its a seemingly simple task, but has major implications, as we see here, if not done correcty. We had a motor blown in a brand new van one time from a kid not seeing that the gasket on the old filter stuck to the block. I just two weeks ago had one of my duramaxs serviced. My tech calls from a job and said there was fuel all over the customer's driveway from his truck. We took it back to the dealer to find the oring was pinched. Another new guy that never worked on diesels at all. I sent them the bill for cleaning my customer's driveway.

I blame GM. No lift pads. Screwed their dealers and their customers
