Cars do not twist that easily, I am not buying it, hope you got better luck with the dealer. I have been a GM Service Manager for 10yrs saw plenty of bent pinched welds and the occasional misaligned fender because of the welds, cracked plastic rocker moldings, dent in the floor. All from setting the lift wrong, but bent frame and firewall. No. Just my opinion the aluminium in these cars are stronger than the old steel we used years ago. Good Luck...

I'll make a Nostradamus of myself and say that this thread will end with a "they fixed the car, everything was aligned finally, I'm happy with the results".

I feel like passion has taken over common sense and that it went way too far for what it is.

As already said, cars don't bend that easily.

Either something REALLY major happened and nobody knows or the whole thing has been exaggerated a little.

Just my opinion. Do not be mad at me OP. All I hope is that everything gets fixed the way that will make you happy. New car or not.

The " stern letter" and lawyer was for a dealer who would not make me whole, not for a dealer who does the right thing from the start. Reading and comprehension folks. Lots of stealers out there

To OP: hope it all works out and you get made whole for any diminished value. Do not be afraid to sue to get made whole. All the best.

I still can't understand how the frame got bent up like it is---short of it falling off the lift? Or a lift failure?

Why does everyone keep saying this car is Aluminum? I see in thread after thread. There needs to be a sticky that corrects this misinformation. The the only aluminum on the structural part of the body in white is the support for the dash. The rest of "frame" as people like to call it is high strength steel. The hood is aluminum also along with some suspension, and drivetrain components.

UPDATE!!!! Went into the Chevy Dealer this morning. They only had one 2SS on the lot. They traded it to me straight up for the one they damaged. 100% no cost trade for me. (Will include pics.) How freaking AWESOME is that? Wooooo Hooooo!!!!! M**** R**** C***in Augusta, Georgia RULES!!!!!!! Meet the "Murder Camaro"!!!!!!
