Update... so the Claw gripper i ordered pictured in another post i made here worked on the second try. Used small tiny piece of a coat hanger, positioned it so the connector side was facing back towards the hole and went in the the claw and snagged it straight through. The rubber weatherproofing piece just take the plastic clip off and push it all the way down to the side for a bit easier access. Put LED bulb back in snug and all is good now.

LED front turn signal
Great news to hear! I’m also happy to report that I mine out too! Jacked the car up on passenger side to keep the bulb from rolling away from the hole, rolled a paper towel up and pushed it in to the far corner to lessen movement and got the connector end facing the hole. I used a 8” tweezers and grabbed it and pulled it out.
It’s all good in my neighborhood! ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Pinch me in a heartbeat. Got these earlier today, installed them and voilá, they do work. Ran them as hazards for two minutes, then as turn signals for one minute each, no hyperflash, and the bulbs didn't get hot to the touch, they were just slightly warm.
The car is now 100% halogen bulb free, yay---LED side markers, trunk light, license plate lights, reverse lights, and now front turn signals. (...but I did keep all the OEM halogens anyway, just to be on the safe side )

If I may make a suggestion, a strip of electrical tape at the base of the bulb and the socket to prevent bulb from fallen inside as a precautionary. The OEMs are super snug and hard to pull out, at least mine were and the LEDs are not as tight. I believe my drivers side fell in pulling it out to seat it. The tape will prevent the drop.
Glad I was able to fish mine out. The bulbs are much brighter and cleaner when on. Nice upgrade....... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The posted link for bulbs says no longer available anyone find another working bulb that doesn't require external resistors?
what about these? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...KG5BQMBR&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...IGHUNQV8&psc=1

They should work, they say built in resistor, no hyper flashing

I picked up these to replace my last pair:
LASFIT 7440 W21W WY21W LED Turn Signal Light Blinker Bulbs, Build-in CANBUS Anti Hyper Flash, No Load Resistor Need, Plug & Play, 24W 2400LM Extremely Bright Amber Yellow-1 Yr Warranty (Pack of 2) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CMSD8CS..._PR1ABb75CABB4 These have the heat sink, and presumably, the resistor built into the tip as opposed to the base. This design would lessen the impact to the wiring, socket and headlamp housing if it were to overheat. Vastly superior design IMO. Also made in the US |

I'd rather have the resistor external than in the bulb, where it's getting no air circulation but meh. to each their own.
Ideally, i'd rather reprogram the stupid BCM to register the new current draw without resistors at all as "good" like lots of other cars used to be able to do back when they introduced this "helpful" bulb out detection but chevy has no interest in being helpful to diy'ers. going on 2 years with led everywhere and no failures. Though, i've never really had an issue with LED bulbs in my previous cars either. |

I’d prefer a cleaner look. It’s not like incandescent bulbs burn cool either. In any case, I’ve experienced no failure with the previous bulb either.
