Fuel systems required to run full e85
What all systems are needed to run full e85 ? My buddy swears by skidmark garage and they have the flex fuel sensor for 200$ and the lowside side auxiliary system for 600$. Apparently it's the same stuff as dsx just proceed lower. I'm new to Chevy and camaros and I didn't need all this to get to that kinda power on my Stang so just curious if this works and is the low side what I need. I remember reading stuff on high side pumps so I'm just confused.

Know that you'll need larger injectors and a tune at a minimum. The cheapest I'd go is DSX and 850's.

There really is no advantage from running E85-E50, so you could run without a low side pump to get started. |

You can’t you need a aux pump too, i have the DSX Pump and it’s awesome. But based on our experience, your not going to gain anything from running full E85 over say E60. So keep that in mind before you spend a ton of money.

I’d be careful of anyone claiming something is the same, because that’s 100% not true.

I've seen SMG's fuel solution and its very well done. Nothing cheap about it other than an attractive price.

Was just gonna tag him here, but I see they banned him from this page... wonder why? seems likely because he doesn't pay for sponsorship, bet that's why he's able to offer a great product for less. just recently had a friend run your aux pump system on his 6th gen and guess what happened? the damn thing worked at 4psi, but shut off as soon as boost passed 9psi.... darnedest thing, was baffling the shop that installed it. Know what fixed it? One of SMG's wiring harnesses... wired right up, and didn't skip a beat...

That same exact thing happened recently at a very reputable shop in Texas.

I added weapon x low side system and flex fuel sensor. And without swamping the engine(going over 7ml sec on injectors ) I could not run over E40. You need to put a cam in to address your high side. Under load you will lose pressure in your fuel rail and injectors will go crazy and the only way to address high side is to change lobe on cam shaft. But stock injectors will be fine with full e85 on the 6thgen LT4

I'm basing that your be doing headers and an intake (personally if your on a budget cut the factory bottom stock box out)
If you don't swap pulleys you should be able to run e85 manage about 610 to 640 depending on the dyno with headers and intake. Some say there is room for a pulley which leads to next statement. if you change pulleys upper or lower you will be mixing e85 w 93 or possibly supplementing with meth injection.. running upper or lower and or a combination of the 2 will require a cam swap w a 32 - 38% fuel lobe needed to make up for the 30% more fuel required to run full e85 most likely a dsx or a intank pump will be needed as well. If you do the cam and stay on 93 with pulleys, headers, and intake you should be at 730 to 770 range depending on the dyno. a lot people i have talked to have been happy with those numbers, that level is like 850 in a 5th gen. given the weight and better traction of the 6 gens.
