Hello,

Finally I’ve found the perfect 2018 ZL1 for me, with less than 2k miles

As the car is sold by a Dodge dealer and before is shipped to Spain, the idea is to visit a Chevy dealer to do all the recalls before abandon the US.

Can you tell me all the recalls you know the ZL1 is involved?

Two more I can think of, not sure about TSB#s:

1. Clunk in front end - Loose sway bar ends, tighten/replace nuts.

Make sure the use the orange front spring spacers when they ship to reduce the risk of splitter damage.

One question on recalls - when I go to my dealer they pull up any recalls due on my car and come up with nothing, yet I see so many generic ones posted online. Is it true that if a recall applies to your specific car it will show up as needed with the dealer? Thx

That's the way it should work but unfortunately that's not always the case. Also, some are bulletins and require the customer to complain about the specific issue before they are able to correct the problem under warranty.

I am not sure why, but in Europe when you go to the dealer (for an oil change, eg) they are obliged to look at your VIN and search if they are recalls or TSBs to apply, even if you didn´t asked for it.

I have specifically asked my SA to look and there are none that show against my car. I guess there is a difference between a recall and a TSB. Recall is required to be performed, TSB is only with a complaint is the way I understand it.
