Camaro 2017 Navigation Update: Any promotion code

I need to update my navigation. Has anyone an promotion code? With the current discount, the update costs $139.

Thx

I should have bought a ZL1

+1

I thought that the offline navigation is (almost) dead, how it should be among all manufacturers

ya for $139 you can get a very good standalone GPS with lifetime maps but GM wants to price gouge on there 3 years behind updates.

I love my in dash navigation, but am not gonna pay them the current offer for an update this time. I will wait for a while. Likely years... just not enough road changes for me to make the plunge.

Not sure there is $139 worth of new roads that appeared the last year to make it worth the update.

Gonna wait another couple of years before I consider it. I think the updates are VIN specific so no way to use someone elses.

Yeah built in nav seems kinda useless with the implementation of android auto and apple car play.

I guess, it was a good thing starting a thread. I guess I won't get the update after reading the different opinions. Thx guys :-)

Not everyone likes to have to pull out there phone every time they get into their car, turn on mobile data, turn on location services, just to make use of android/apple nav. Then turn it all back off and unplug when they get out of the car (assuming they want to preserve phone battery.)

If it was all wireless, sure.

Or maybe that's just me?

I turned off the internet/wifi just because I was tired of getting the notification every time I started the car.

Built in Nav with instructions displayed on the HUD makes the initial purchase price a no brainer. It’s also nice to look up that address on the My Chevy app and sent it to the Nav before I go to the car and have it ready when the car is started.

At $139 for the updated maps, I’ll skip this update because the roads haven’t changed significantly.
