Anyone got pics ?

I'd rather do this fix myself than take it to a dealer and suffer the consequences.

Stopped in to my dealer to inquire about this. It is VIN specific, so it does not apply to all cars. Call in and inquire about it with your VIN, they should be able to tell you over the phone.

Tell that to the dealers. They are the ones telling us it's a recall.

Can confirm, both SAs I talked to specifically called it a recall, even though the document shown is clearly a TSB.

They tell me it was a recall and not a TSB but its the dealer so take it for what its worth, if it causes stalls and no restarts it should be a recall and it is a safety issue. I have gotten random fault codes for traction control, rear diff etc, but no stalls yet.

Because a tsb only applies under warranty and you have a time and mileage table to get it covered for free. A recall is a safety issue not limited by time or mileage.

Went to the dealer to get this done on zl1 the addition of wire management is under the belly pan and underhood passenger side. The wire management has clip attached to clip on bolt nearby.

Did it myself this morning.
Took my time.
Put the car on the ramp
Remove all the under protections
Including the center aluminium one, to have an easy access.
Had to disconnect the 2 connections of the steering like the pictures in order to play comfortably with the cable. (Not the upper one).
Added the 2 protections (about 5 cm each) and wrapped the total with electrical cloth tape.
Reconnected and refixed all the under protections.
Done
Difficulty on a scale 1-10 I will say 6.
My big fingers didn’t help to put the tape...
Took me hard time to remove and refix the wire retainer on the A/C compressor.
Total took me 2-3 hrs
Didn’t want to screw anything
Reviewed all other connections and added some tape to secure more....

No it doesn't, I'm looking right at it right now and it clearly says it's a service update.

my car is affected, and my dealer says its a recall...they are just pissed because its listed as an hour job, but the tech says it takes longer than that.
