I used PDR on my last Camaro and the guy here in DFW I use is a genius. Right on the read of my 5th Gen SS both times, he got it out like there was nothing there.

Fast forward to last year, and driving past a golf course in my wife's Jeep, get nailed by a golf ball right by the passenger side rear door panel, up by the handle. I figured there was no way it was going to be PDR-able, but Monty went all out on it and fixed it. The guy is a genius! Good as new! (And I'm a picky customer). Charged $40!

That sir is a speed dent. Only makes Camaros angry and fast! Don’t sweat the small stuff and find a quality repair shop that specializes in this sort of thing. Barely noticeable until pointed out.

Glad to hear your getting it fixed. Almost looks like a door ding to me. That is one thing I hate about washing/waxing my cars. When I find something like that or a small scratch it drives me crazy

I was thinking the same thing, or maybe a buggy but who knows. I believe the front fenders are made of aluminum if I’m not mistaken it looks like a slight dent but it will bothers me for years to come. And you’re absolutely right man

Recent thread with photos and great success with PDR.
I agree with others, your dent looks PDR-EZ. These guys are talented!

I feel your pain. Met a buddy for lunch on Thursday and parked way away from everyone else. I was in my 17 LT and he drives a souped up Audi RS5 and we were the only two cars parked clear out in the lot near an island. Come out from lunch to find a landscaping outfit working the area and some kid with a high powered blower blowing crap all over the front of our cars. I'm irritated, but not a huge deal until I drive to the first corner and I hear a CRACK from the windshield as a split about 5" comes across from the left A pillar. At first I thought maybe the windshield was faulty and actually called the dealership on my way home. When I got home I check it out and see an impact point where something hit the windshield at the point where the crack started. I walk around the back of the car and find a landscape rock sitting on the base of the rear window against the lip of the trunk! All makes sense now! A little later I'm looking the front bumper over since I now know they were all over the area with weed-eaters etc. and find a deep gouge in the front bumper that went through the clear bra and into the base material of the bumper, curling the plastic material up as it went!

I got ahold of the landscaping Place and the Manager came over to look at the damage. He said there's no way a blower would do that, however, a weed-eater could. They are replacing the windshield on Monday, but we'll see about the gouge.

I had my body shop look at the gouge and he said that because the bumper has the clear bra wrap they will have to replace the bumper since the clear bra adhesive leaves a residue on plastic parts that they can never really remove completely causing any paint applied over it to fail. In addition he says to blend the new bumper they need to remove the wrap from the quarter panels and hood along with the rally stripes etc and repaint and reapply stripes and wrap. Said to do it right that little gouge in the bumper will cost them about $3500 not counting the windshield!!!

They're going to crap when they get the bill! Just plain stupid to be running that kind of equipment around peoples cars anyway!

I know $100 isn’t cheap, but that would have bugged me too and I’d of gladly paid it.

First......................calm down.
2nd. Life isn't over. It's just a car.
3rd. Check to see if you made it out alive.
4th. Call 911.
5th. Find the nearest person and blame them.
6th. Then sue them.
7th. Get a life.

Thank you for the sound advice. I have decided to become an internet grammar policeman.
Your signature line needs an apostrophe in "others," as in "other is." "There's" should be "there are," as your object is plural. And technically it should be "one of them is I," as "be" verbs take the nominative, but I'll let you off with just a warning, as that's a bit of a colloquialism.

I think $100 is a fair price for what turned out to be a great result!
