Has anyone attempted an A10 transmission fluid change or fluid addition?
I know the fluid fill is in the typical GM passenger side location. If you check that location it is covered with heat blanket material that appears to cover the entire transmission. Any ideas or does someone have access to the dealer service manual?

From what I know its the exact same procedure as the A6 and A8, but the temp required for checking the fluid is full operating temperature vs. a lower temp as is the case on the other transmissions. I believe thats like 205 or 210.

I believe you can fill from the bottom drain plug. You pump more then you need in and do the level check procedure and let the extra drain out. Here's a good video about it:

yes, that video is correct. It would be nice to be able to access the top fill hole but it is really tucked up in the tunnel. Fluid addition is indeed possible through the fluid level drain using a hand pump and a small (very small) plastic tube. I checked my fluid via this drain check at 200°F and there was nothing coming out. I added a pint just to see if it would work and magically it worked fine.
