Another 2LT V6 RS thread

I am buying a used 2017 Camaro 2LT RS V6, and I made a thread about it, and got some very good replies, so thank you for that.

So I have found a few that are exactly what I want. Now my question to you is, what is good price for a 2LT V6? What should I be comfortable paying and what should I not be comfortable paying. My ideal price range is 22k, after taxes. Any help on what you guys think is a good price?

There are hundreds of variables including condition of the car, miles, location, options, color, history, the list goes on. Take the car you are looking at, find out what the book value is on KBB with miles, options, and location, and you'll get a ballpark on what it's worth. Also look on autotrader for the cars in a 200 mile radius of you and you'll see what others are listing for.

I haven't read the whole thread but even used .. 22k is pushing it. used maybe 25k at best but realistically $28k and higher.

I got my 1LT Convertible with 20K on it for $23K. I would think a coupe with the 2LT could be had for a similar deal.

I have the car you are looking for and my book value at the dealer is $22000. I think as stated previously, anywhere from $25-28000 will get you a similar car.

Alot of verts started their life as rental cars which causes their value to TANK. A used 2LT will be had for a bit more than 22k unless the OP runs into a good deal.

You guys gotta realize a fully loaded new 2LT costs around $40k

22K after taxes is definitely quite a stretch on a pre owned 2017 2LT. Currently seasonal demand has increased used car values on Camaro's. KBB has a trade in value at near $24K on a used 2LT RS with 12K miles V6 A8 and tech package. Unless you find a crazy deal I would suggest waiting till fall when values drop.

2 LT's have high sticker prices brand new- some more than a 1 SS, depending on how many options it has. Dealer discounts will vary a lot too. I paid 36,500 for mine brand new but it had a very expensive aftermarket tire and wheel package included. The depreciation is huge on especially the V6 and 4 cylinder models once driven off the lot the value drops to around 24K. So getting a slightly used one is a good idea- someone has already taken the huge depreciation hit.
