Buying a used 2016 2LT RS
Hey guys, active forum reader here. I have been wanting to buy a Camaro 2LT RS for some time now. But ive just been settling with my 5th gen 2LT at the moment.
So yesterday, my brother pulled up in a 2018 Dodge Charger SXT Plus, and man is that thing good looking lol. After driving it, for like 5 hours straight, ive decided that it was time to get me something I want again. So my question to you guys is... If you are a forumer here who lives in the state or around the state of Georgia, would you guys be willing to post some models that your dealerships are selling? I only want a 2LT RS V6. Im not quite ready for an SS lol. I am having trouble looking through the internet, and so I am reaching out to my fellow brothers. If you could, either post the link to the dealership website or post some pictures/prices and where exactly it is located. I am willing to drive within a 4 or 5 hour radius, and maybe a little more if it is worth it. Thank you guys so much! Also, things to know: -I preferably like Silver Ice Metallic or Hyper Blue Metallic -I like the 20" premium spoke rims -I like the creature comforts, so the 2LT works just right -Bluetooth, it has to have Bluetooth as I love music lol - DUAL MODE EXHAUST IS A MUST! |

I would just use http://www.chevrolet.com/ and the "search for dealer" feature. Then, on each site, look at the used cars section and you'll find everything you are looking for.

You can put in your zip, search radius, and options. You should be able to find a Camaro that suites you.

Do I live in California I have a lot of input on your situation. Sold my Mustang of 13 years and went through a little bit of withdrawal not having a muscle car in the garage. My wife had a 2010 Dodge Challenger SE that I had pretty much tricked out with new rear gears and the whole nine yards. You need to get into something more muscle car like and get rid of my Camry what should become my new daily driver I decided on a 2016 or up Camaro. I would have actually done a V8 Challenger because I loved the car to the fact of the matter was I couldn't have two black challenger sitting in the driveway. Karma Smiled On Me and I happened across a 2016 RS that was a GM buyback so it has lemon law on the title but it actually been sent back to the Michigan Chevy factory and check top-to-bottom they found no problems. I got the car first deal for around $21k with 6500 miles on it. It had 20 inch wheel package, the Bose package, the technology package and all kinds of stuff. A friend of mine who's a Salesman at a Chevy dealership spect it out and it would have come in around $34,5 retail. Great news is I've owned a car almost a year and a half plus and I've never had an issue with it. 335 + horsepower from a V6 is pretty amazing as the Mustang I sold before it had 305 when I watch it drive away. Now here is what will help you in your search. You can put 20 in Wheels on it even if it came with a tease and 10 to 1 you're going to replace the stock rims anyway. I ordered Giovanni's two days after I own the car. Mine has the bose packaged and to be honest with you it sounds very different than normal stereo. The upgraded audio is pretty awesome but I wouldn't mind redoing it with something higher power and subs in the rear. Bluetooth is great to connect your phone but you can do that with a cable because I can tell you right now the microphone for your Bluetooth connection to your phone is the worst in any car I've ever driven. I don't know how they could do that much testing on a Camaro release it to the public and the stupid phone microphone not work properly but hey it is what it is. Just like the Dodge Challenger these newer cars are all drive by wire instead of cable. Right after ordering my rims 2 weeks later I installed a JMS throttle controller. In my book this is a must do you upgrade for the basic Enthusiast. It'll totally change the throttle in your car and make it feel like it's got the power it should. JMS are a little spendy and American made it three hundred bucks you can get other versions for about 150 but I say that is one of the important upgrades. Next, don't be worried about NPP exhaust. It's overpriced it has a built-in Rattle and it's a pain in the ass. I got mine was single tips on either side and I worked with another form user to buy his rear Valance that had twin outlets and installed a borla Cat-Back. You will want to do this type of customization to get the right kind of sound you want and they will weigh outperform the NPP setup. Not saying I'm an expert but I honestly feel the NPP exhaust is just an overpriced stock exhaust that should be cut and dropped from under the car when you drive it off the lot LOL. My one last word of advice is do not get Mosaic black. I didn't really have a choice in the color and I really love the black when I drove it off the lot but you can see a white Speck of dirt on this thing from across the parking lot, I'm a little OCD about that and it had to come to terms with myself on a lot of those issues but my counselor says I'm getting better LOL. all in all you really can't go wrong with a 16 + RS as far as I'm concerned. For daily driver it's got more than enough power and it looks fantastic. Best of luck and I hope that this may help a little bit.
Purse was constructed using voice to text so if something sounds weird or if the wrong word I'm not stupid my phone is LOL.
