Reasonable priced 2018 2SS A8, Buy or Wait for 19's?
I've kept my eyes open for a decent deal on a new 2018 nightfall gray 2SS with A8 to replace my daily driver, and I found a dealer with one in stock that has options I like (NPP, MRC, Nav, blade spoiler). Without much negotiation they've come down 6k off msrp already which is better than I figured I would see in May, especially in California.
So the real question is, would you get a new 2018 2SS A8 (knowing the existing shuddering problem hasn't been surfacing in the 2018) and get the current body style, or would you wait a few months for the new 2019 with the A10? The impatient part of me says get it but I worry about the drive train, though the new A10 could introduce its own problems.

i think the odds are even,as long as you like the 2019 refresh, but i would go with the 2018.the new front end isnt that great on the SS unless the dealer will paint your front bumper body color.and as you point out who knows if the 10 speed will have its own teething problems.

I have a 50th anniversary 2017 2SS A8, low 8k mileage that you can buy.
