Supercharger & M6

I was just curious from any guys running the Maggie with an M6. Is it pretty easy to drive when you have a little fun? first 2 gears pretty much no use?(I'm sure first gear is no use). Was it easy to track it? I can't find any videos of an M6 with a Maggie, Whipple, or a Edelbrock. Seems that most M6's are running Prochargers, at least from what I can see. Is a Procharger more suitable for an M6?

There are several on the forum, most are A8's like mine. Just finished an A8 for
Drsagacity. The M6 usually puts down a little more hp as it has less drive train lose.

Just finished installing a Maggie on my m6 car last night. I've only driven around 25 very easy miles so far. I'll let you know after i get it tuned

I have a M6 with a Magnuson and it’s fun! 1st and 2nd gear are useless as you suspect but if you roll into the throttle you will be fine.

No track numbers or times yet, going to a couple 1/2 mile events and do the 1/4 mile later in the year.

It’s very easy to control if you pretty much forget that 1st gear is there and not plant it until 2nd gear, and even then you better be pointing straight on good pavement and it better be over 70 out, or you’ll likely spin right through 2nd gear. But it’s easy to control even if you start spinning. Just ease up a little then jump back in if you can. Third gear is usually good to go WOT unless under 50 degrees on summer tires. best DD I’ve ever had though!
I’ve put 22,000 miles on my car since the Edelbrock SC install, and have enjoyed it thoroughly.

Sounds good guys, I'm feeling more confident! I won't lie sometimes I see an A10 running high 10s with a Mag and I'm like darn I should of went A10 but, you just cant beat the fun of a Manual. Is also good for when someone you know is like "Hey can I drive your car?"

"Can you drive stick?"

"Oh....no..."

If you want to drag race it make sure you choose a Slick as it much easier on the drive train. I'm making over 700 at the wheels and I contribute the soft side wall of the slick for not breaking drive train parts as some with similar power running drag radials.

All gears are usable, just depends on how you drive it. I was told Magnuson was hard to commute it, i'd melt tires.. not the case at all.. drives like normal unless I want to make it angry.

I drive fine with mine. If your on stock tires. forget it. Invest in some Michelin PS4S. good street, track tire IMO. Then again, I'm not a daily driver either.

Maggie is fun but honestly if I could do it again I'd go with Procharger. The instant boost of the Maggie can make it a little unpredictable in the twisties
