Wow that's a gorgeous color. I'm not sure I'll be able to pull it off. But it's beautiful, just beautiful

Right, Orange Crush is closer to the Hugger Orange that was on the 4th Gen's… a little more “milky”, which maybe from a very fine flake/pearl.

Some here have discussed the COPO color; it was referred to as "Super Crush" by the GM folks at SEMA. It is HEAVILY flaked.

Same old , same old. Wow a new gray and a new blue how exciting. No greens at all? , no Copper or bronz or something new ? Nothing exciting all the same with a different hue. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Most all new cars are working on the grayscale black-and-white and shades in between. It’s like TV in the 50’s.

Not criticizing, just find it quite silly. I think silver in an actual satin finish would be badass though

I said it was a nice color. My father-in-law's is that color ,but even he wishes he would have orderd a different color because it seems like they are everywhere. Im sure crush will be the same. Dealers will be ordering that color for stock like gangbusters.
I love crush too, but I would never order it because im sure I would pass myself all the time.

Based on the 2016 & 2017 production statistics, Hyper Blue makes up 12.9% of the 6th gen population. I rarely see other 6th gens on the road, let alone Hyper Blue ones. I love the color!

Got a chuckle outta this pic....I know it’s referring to the brake lamp, but imagine for a second that it’s a loading instruction for the car transport driver. This side up!

In my area we see more hyper blue and black than any other color regardless of what the numbers say. Like I said twice now, i like that color and crush. I just like to pick colors that are as popular. That's why I've had a lot of yellow cars.

I just received my CRUSH hotty today, and it does not have any metallic or pearl in it. I also heard from a member (my facebook 2018 Hot Wheels group)who is getting a COPO that they are not doing the COPO in the Burnt Crush that was exhibited at SEMA, it will be the same CRUSH as the other Hot Wheels.

GM labeled the color as "Crush", not "Crush Metallic", therefore the color chip has no flake or pearl in it, and neither will the 2019. It does indeed appear to be the same non-metallic color that is on the 2018 HWE.

You're right. I asked my paint guy to look up the mixture and it does not have any metallic or pearl in it. I think my color chip is just wrong. He did say that if those chips are painted and they used a gun that had been used to do a metallic color, some of that could have made it's way into the orange. I have no idea how they do those color samples that they send to us though.
