Hmm.. Maybe his spring is stuck? Do you have a rod you can stick into the valve to release your springs?

It made a big difference on mine by pulling it. Track mode, manual mode NPP does stay open longer, but it still closes cruising. Pulled the fuse and the exhaust ways stays open all the time and sounds throaty.

Nothing was stuck. Valves were 100% open with fuse removed (visually verified), and the car sounded identical during all driving situations to when the fuse was installed.

I'm not the only one who feels this way. Several memebers have pulled their fuse and noticed no difference. I think you guys are hearing a placebo improvement lol.

There is a noticeable difference. Yea it sounds the same as in track mode with the valves open but the valves don't close making the car louder even under light acceleration.

build a mild 2 wild switch and you will notice a difference. But really it drones at cruise with the valves open. its nice to just be able to push a button. After a hour driving with the valves open i need to close them.

This echoes my experience. In Track mode, the valves would close again unless I was giving it a lot of gas. Now they don't..it's pretty obvious. Well worth it, love the way my NPP sounds now.

I actually do have measurable hearing loss..but I can tell the difference. It may also be more apparent when you're outside the car.

FWIW, when I first pulled the fuse, many months ago, I thought there was no difference from track mode so I put it back. I recently pulled it again, and now I do believe there is a difference. Not significant, but it sounds better at cruising speed.

Made a difference in sound on my 2SS when I pulled the fuse. I set mine in Track mode and have kept it there.

18 ZL1 here and I also noticed a fairly large difference after pulling the fuse. The exhaust isn’t louder than before...it’s just as loud but now more often. Like someone else mentioned, the big change I noticed is under light acceleration. Before pulling fuse even in track mode the valves would be closed under light acceleration. Now they are open all the time and the additional roar is definitely very apparent! Also I get more crackle and pops from exhaust while decelerating. Even my wife noticed the change! I’m very happy with it.

Another thing I noticed is that before the fuse pull I would see exhaust soot in all 4 tips (even in track mode)...with fuse pulled there is now zero soot in the inner pipes. So the effect is even visible!

I have not pulled the fuse but can tell the difference between the different modes. Maybe there is something else going on here for those who cant hear a difference? I have not pulled the fuse nor will I. I like the ability to stealth it. I have a A-hole neighbor who has a mustang and I swear he starts his up in a track mode on purpose every day. He has remote start so he lets it idle for about 10 mins, quite annoying.
