Tubes hang too low?

I recently had 1 7/8 headers with 3" long tubes installed. I'm a little concerned with how low the tubes hang. Near the middle of the car, they literally are 1" off the ground - I can't slide the width of a yardstick between the tube and the ground (see the pic). Granted my garage floor is a bit uneven, but trust me, even on a complete flat surface, there is 1-1.5 inches of clearance. This just seems to be installed a bit too low. The installer told me "that’s normal as the pipes go underneath everything and are now not crushed flat like the factory ones". Just looking for confirmation that 3" tubes should hang that low...

It looks like it was installed under the cross brace. It needs to go above it in the little "tunnel" the stock exhaust ran thru.

This. I'd get it looked at soon, you're going to destroy those pipes if you have to go over a speed bump or big curb.

The crossover pipe might be flipped the wrong way. It's normal for long tubes to sit lower then the factory exhaust but an inch off the ground just won't work.

Gonna take a guess you bought the system from speed engineering
