Tune for Ported MSD IM??

Is it necessary to tune the car after installing a ported MSD IM? I'm sure tuning will gain more power, but I wanted to know if its safe to drive it.

Should be fine. But to get the best from it tune will need to be changed. At the very least shift points raised
