Direct wire a radar detector to mirror wiring on convertible
I want to direct wire my radar detector to the wiring in the mirror on my 2016 convertible. It appear that a cover where the homelink, interior lights, top activation switch, etc are located has to be removed to get to the wiring. I have looked hard and cannot find any instruction on how to remove that cover. I am afraid to just try to pry it off for fear of doing damage to the surrounding trip.
Anyone have any suggestions on how to gain access to the wiring that goes to the mirror? |
