If the Camaro looked anything like a Camry, trust me i would never had made this thread . Also the new Camry loaded looks really nice IMO (better then any previous one they produced) for a sporty midsize family car that is.

I really like the update. I wouldn't mind one in a few years.

They are not the same. I don't remember all the particulars, but the front end of the 10L90 is completely different and yes the software and tuning as well.

The difference between 10L90 and 80 that's going in the SS is power rating. I'm curious to see the gearing of the 10L80 as well.

10L90 rated for 650/650
10L80 rated for 460/420

and there will no doubt be other 10LXX transmissions come out due to gas savings.

I like the hood and the A10 and added tech, that’s all. Hate the entire front end and head/tail lights of all versions with the SS being the worst.

Layman's curiosity, but isn't this a little on the low side for the SS? And how about those would-be supercharged LT1's with this transmission?

What's funny is that when the 6th gen came out lots of people said it looked like a Corolla.

I think once we see some real world pictures and not from 2 feet off the ground more people will like it.

I don't know why GM puts out pictures from angles we will never look at the car from....unless you are on your knees.

I think it will look much better and more aggressive from a normal view.

The 2016-2018 Camaros are not the most photogenic cars but i also feel that way about the 2010-2013 Camaros ,the VW beetle looks more aggressive from some angles then those first Gen 5s . GM really needs to get the 2019s out and seen .

Well, GM isn't going to put much thought into people modifying their cars, or at least not advertise that. Too many warranty scenarios from that stand point.

However, the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior. GM transmissions have been well known for handling more torque and power than the pamphlet might suggest. Those numbers are it's max capacity, those numbers are more like it's suggested capacity for reliability and longevity.

Of course, if you are concerned about it being behind your supercharged LT1, just keep an eye out at your local Car-Part and wait for a ZL1 to show up that the driver couldn't handle.

I think it looks alright, I don't worry about bling and small cosmetic changes too much.

I just want a good car and motor.

Good catch... I got the numbers backwards. Either way it's the same way the 6LXX 8LXX where the last two digits relate to how much power/tq it's rated to.

Agreed...

I4 Turbo 1LE is definitely a huge win. I love everything about it.
Styling on the LT models, the convertible looks great.
A10
Tail lights
Hood for sure on all models. I feel the SS hood looks more aggressive.

I like everything on the SS except......... I'm sure most of you can guess...

I was hoping for more colors but I'm sure we will see a few special color options down the road.

Now, let's see what a 1LE SS is going to look like.

This is the only thing that could possibly make me wait on buying the ZLE
