Looks ok to me, you guys are a tough crowd. I don't love the front, but I do like the back and sides and think the front is ok, I thought the 2014/2015 was the worst looking of the recent models.
Guess that's why there are so many ugly kias and hyundais on the roads these days, most people like crap :-) |

IF IT AIN'T BROKE...DON'T FIX IT!
Hey Guys and Gals, Brand new 2017 Turbo Camaro owner here. Personally, first off and foremost, I love what they did with the 2016-2018 Gen6 design cosmetically and engine performance-wise-increase. But I aint to thrilled about the 2019 addition. They tried to hard. Trying to stand out when they already succeeded. Let me just vent. I saw more changes on the 2019 camaro, then I have ever seen from the 2016 gen5 to the 2016 Gen6. It was almost like they tried to make a gen7 camaro, but stopped, thinked about it and was like ...nahhh. I don't know. But I ain't feeling the whole new cosmetic design on the 2019 camaro's. Its got like this Chevy Malibu Tail Lights thing going on to me when they already come with a Corvette like-design tail lights.(which in my opinion, sexy as hell) And one more thing, the front end. Why GM. WHY? It's got to much of a Dodge Dart Front end Look alike. Especially on the SS Models with the God Awful ugly placed Chevy emblem and Extra Black going on there. I might sound offensive. By all means, it's just my opinion. But I think I'll keep my 2017 Gen6 Turbocharged Camaro. I'm honestly Surprised they didnt tweak the torque up or tune horespower more on the turbos spec-wise for the 2019 models. I mean, Ford did it on all their mustangs. The 2018 got a boost in torque compared to 2017. But let's not get off topic. I'm not a fan of new design on the camaro that's all. If anything GM did right here is, they did keep the V6 however in the engine line-up. Unlike The american icon muscle car, The Ford Mustang and also I may add this year the Imported Honda accord and list goes on *cough *cough screw the environment and fuel economy but if it ain't broke don't fix it GM.

I believe it's John Cafaro who's been approving all of the dorky anime faces on Chevrolets lately.
Just look at anything from a Spark to a Traverse, and you'll see a hexagonal grille grille (trying to emulate the shape of the Stingray's grille) with another trapezoidal opening haphazardly slapped up above it, with a bowtie tossed in somewhere to tell you it's a Chevy and not some Chinese knockoff of a real car. I'm tired of it, and now the 2019 Spark, Cruze, Malibu, and Camaro have all taken it to the next obnoxious level. Luckily, the Tahoe/Suburban, Colorado, Silverado, and Impala have escaped his wrath thus far. JOHN! WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR YOU TO DRAW A DAMN GRILLE THAT LINES UP WITH ITSELF??? Look at the 2008 Malibu by Clay Dean for an example of what a Chevy car's front end should look like, or even the 2010 Equinox. Modernize it to your heart's content, please! But don't give it some goofy anime face (2018 Equinox), or have the bowtie reside COMPLETELY BELOW the headlights (2019 Camaro). Camaro and Corvette should always have more flexibility in fascia design because cooling airflow takes precedence over fuel economy airflow, but this is just too goofy looking to take seriously. Even the car looks like it's embarrassed and staring at the ground in front of it like a kid getting yelled at. Sorry for the rant, but I had to get that out in the air. I love Chevrolet, but they make it really hard on us sometimes... EDIT: It turns out, John Mack is the one responsible for the new Camaro. Last edited by RedonBlackRS; 04-10-2018 at 08:10 PM. The turbo 1le is the best of the refresh by far. I think this car will do well in some autocrosses and might be on my list if I choose to get rid of the v8!

You market something for Autox and it probably won’t sell well to people outside the Autox world. So, money basically.

Granted, the AutoX's big advantage was the wider tires all around (285s vs 245s/275s) and the high-wing spoiler instead of the blade spoiler, and the SS hood vents.... All of which can be added aftermarket. Oh, and the GMPP intake w/tune that we're still waiting for... |

The auto-x concept was brilliantly beautiful in design. My personal favorite....
