I have the P3 gauge. Very clean install in driver's vent.

You would think...but that is out of my depth. I would rather have it like this versus even the P3 in the vent solution.

Hey Hogwild87, Did you get your wideband gauge installed? I am planning to install my AEM gauge this weekend and was also wondering about power, ground, firewall feed thru and bung / sensor location. I’m sure the install is relatively straight forward, but it’s always good to compare notes with someone who has been there, done that so-to-speak. I would appreciate input on any tips or lessons learned during your install.

I powered mine from the cigarette lighter, which works perfectly because it’s switched power. I ran the cable through the firewall where the sound tube was connected. And you can see in the pictures where I put the sensor.

Great info, Mr 45th. I had not thought about the sound tube option . I've got to remove it anyway when I install my Magnuson supercharger and Rotofab CAI. I'm hoping to install the wideband gauge and my ZL1 in tank pump that's been on the to do list for months sometime this week/weekend so that I will have everything in place when I get around to installing my blower. My kit arrived last week and I'm champing at the bit to get it installed! Wouldn't you know that I'm absolutely covered up at home and at work for the next couple of weeks!

MR 45th - any issues with locating your wideband that close to the narrowband sensor? I'm getting ready to have one installed and just wondering if there's any noticeable issues associated with the location. Thanks

Nothing that I've seen. And to be honest you will get 100's of opinions on where people say to put them, so I just went with what the installer recommended. I guess time will tell if it was the wrong move

Seems like all the options are digital. I prefer an analog sweep style for boost, but not seeing much. That factory gauge thing would be sweet.

You should be fine.... I personally would put it before any cat's because they will burn off some of the fuel and should change the o2 reading, but you still should be able to tell relative when you're lean or rich.
